This morning we heard some great news… We were thrillled to hear from a little bird that The Initiation #2 had won the Best Gay Comic Gaybie Award! What an absolutley great way to start the week off!

The Initiation Book #2 wins Best Erotic Gay Comic Award!

It’s funny that this book should win an award when it almost didn’t even make it to print! When it was in development we weren’t sure if our readers would want to read a comic about regular guys, as opposed to superheroes, space-men and barbarians from mystical lands. Good thing that Patrick insisted!

Thank you so much to each and every reader who took the time to check out the TLA award page and selected The Initiation #2 as their favourite gay comic! There were plenty of great choices, and not all the books were ours!

The folks at TLA video have just announced the 2010 TLA Gaybies – their very own awards meant to honor the best work of gay writers, filmmakers and performers in their respective fields.

I am SO PLEASED to let you guys know that a bunch of my own projects as well as several other books released by Class Comics last year have been nominated and YOU can vote for your favorites.

In the BEST GAY COMIC category, these Class Comics titles were nominated:

The Initiation Book #2 now on sale from Class Comics.

For your viewing pleasure, here is a little sneak peek at the forthcoming INITIATION #2.  Writer Robert Fraser, artist Joseph Hawk and colorist Hernán Cabrera have worked very hard on this issue, making it even HOTTER than its predecessor – if that’s even possible!

Fan faves Alex, Dylan, Zack and Bradley are back for more on campus sexcapades.  The book features a ton of hot new college hunks and the story deepens as a new stud in town takes an unsuspected interest in Alex.  There’s a lot more to the blond boytoy than meets the eye!

We’ll keep you posted on official release dates, but for now we hope you will enjoy this look at the book’s cover and some of it’s sexy scenes.

It’s official!  All of the art for Boytoon Adventures #1 is now in the can!  Patrick couldn’t be happier, and drawing in his “Bryce Peters” style for this project has left him feeling extremely proud of what he’s accomplished.

Botytoon Adventures #1 stands at 74 pages of story, and is possibly Patrick’s most sexually explicit project to date.  Along with the hot sex, you’ll be treated to great stories featuring Class Comics faves such as Zahn, Camili-Cat, Locus, Flamer, Diablo and Ghostboy in a wicked animation-like art style.  The book also introduces us to a new character named Mako Finn.  There’s even a cool Initiation story that was written by Initiation creator, Robert Fraser.

For this project, Patrick teamed up with colorist extraordinaire, Golden Key, and the pages look glorious! Now all that’s left to do is letter the book and prepare it for press.

Boytoon Adventures #1 will be the very first official Class Comics Trade Paperback.  We’ll keep you posted on official release dates.  Look for the Mini Site to come your way very soon!
