Alcyoneus wakes nearly a whole month after his and Euribatos’ terrible ordeal in the city of Tulum. He’s more than a little dazed and confused, Al has missed a lot in his time convalescing. Euri explains to Al that thanks to him, the city was saved, and at last things seem to have returned to normal in Tulum.
Our heroes throw a huge party to celebrate their victory in Tulum, but Al ponders the Goddess Cuam’s message. “You must go to the N…”. That’s all she was able to say before being abruptly ambushed and silenced. What does the message mean? Moreover, what is the significance of the Stone of the Seven Lights which Cuam bestowed upon our young hero?
Miles away, evil brews deep within a distant and foreboding mine… and it holds prisoners near and dear to Al’s heart. Destiny will lead Alcyoneus and Euribatos deep underground to face the wrath of an enemy so filled with hatred that the entire continent will rumble. Can Al and Euri unravel the secrets of the GOLD MINE in time to save those trapped within it… AND to save their own skins?
They might have a chance, that is if the foul creature Uram, messenger of the God Argum weren’t also chasing them down, intent on destroying them. Oh, and did you think this was peril enough for our heroes? Yes…? Well, it gets worse, because Tamarit the dragon seeks his father’s council. He has vengeance on the brain and won’t rest until Alcyoneus and Euribatos both lay dead at his clawed feet.
